Why the scalp?
The scalp is often referred to as the "living" part of the hair because it is the foundation from which hair growth originates. Hair follicles embedded in the scalp are responsible for producing and nourishing individual hair strands. Here's why the scalp is considered the living part of the hair and why it tends to be neglected: Hair Follicles and Growth: Hair follicles are tiny, dynamic structures within the scalp that actively produce and support hair growth. Each follicle contains living cells responsible for the formation of new hair cells, which eventually become the visible hair shafts.
